A new couch co-op experience from solo developer Pontus Karlsson, coming to Steam on October 10th 2024!
Tipston Salvage is a strategic couch co-op logistics game for 2-4 players where you operate a vast number of eclectic junkyards throughout the city of Tipston. Call in new junk, crush and ship metal, and pack the designated storage areas neatly with the correct type of junk. The art of running a junkyard has been lost and it's up to your crew to figure it out!
Pontus Karlsson is a Swedish game developer who's been in the games industry since 2009, working on titles such as "A Way Out", "Brothers - a Tale of Two Sons", "Gauntlet (2014)" and Kinectimals among others. Tipston Salvage is the developer's debut title as a solo developer.
Is there online multiplayer?
Online multiplayer is available through Parsec and Steam Remote Play Together. While native online multiplayer would be an incredible feature to have, it's unfortunately too big of an undertaking for a single developer on a project of this size. Sorry!
Can I play alone?
Tipston Salvage is technically a co-op only game.
There is however a smaller bonus campaign available, made specifically for solo play. It's mainly there as an extra challenge and for trying out the game before getting a group together to play.
Will it be released on console?
The initial release will be on PC only.
The ambition is to get the game out on console at a later stage. It is a game that is best enjoyed on a couch in front of a TV after all!
When is the game coming out?
The game is coming to Steam on October 10th 2024!
